I'm a Vic fan but i watched silence as well as magicians of love and thought that it was way better!

... What the... *refrains from swearing* Okay, first and foremost. I actually like Ming Dao. I adored him in Prince Turns To Frog. (Soooooooo cute with Tian Yu. XD) and I think his acting is pretty good. But Magicians of Love? ><"" That was such a BAD series... x.x The relationships were totally lame and screwed up, and the plotline ain't much better... I couldn't even get past the first 5 episodes of it. And viewers rated it 5/5? That's utterly and completely unbelievable. *dies*

Silence is so much better, in plotline and even acting. Heck, Vic Chou actually acts his part well in this series. (I always thought he was a mediocre, even amateur-ish actor. His early acting, like Meteor Garden, was bleh, and later on in Mars, it's BETTER but it's just average... Silence proved me wrong. Definite acting potential there.) I'm not even a fan of him and I can admit that. And the chemistry between him and Park Eun Hye was awesome~ So much better than in Magicians of Love. And the humour in that series was genuine to me.

You know what that rating is? It's a popularity contest. *dies* I don't care how much people don't like Vic Chou or like Ming Dao or whatever the heck. I'm sure if people watched both series they would realize that Silence is of a way better quality series than Magicians of Love.

... Unless, of course, people actually LIKE the ridiculous threesome and the so-called "humour" in that unbelievably unoriginal show. (Don't try to tell me the haircutting thing makes it special, because it doesn't. Period.) Then, I have absolutely nothing to say.[/b][/i]

hi elsiey...I have watched Magician of Love..think it's quite ok....but will watch Silence to see whether it really beats Magician of Love....

I don't really like Magician of Love after watching most of the episode. I see some part of Silence. Vic's acting is pretty good but it's not like MD's acting in Magician is not good even if I don't like the story line.

elsiey, I don't know if you're mistaken by the rating out of 5 and the viewer give it a 5 out of 5. As far as I know, Magician of Love got a viewer rating of 5 when it air. It's the rating system that Taiwan use to determine how many viewer are watching a certain drama. Magician of Love had the highest rating when it air. I heard Silence is not doing bad, so don't feel bad about it because my sister say that one of the episode don't know which episode but it have a rating of 4. Which is consider good. Oh BTW, I'm a Zai Zai fan, I love him no less than MD.

I LIKE Ming Dao better.. he acts so well too.. Not that vic doesn't, he's also a good actor but sometimes he does lack facial expressions in his dramas,.. Anyway, Vic and MD are both great!

I watched magicians of love already..
the first 5 episodes were kinda weird.. but as you go on, you will find that this drama is interesting.. (don't mean to offense)..
ok..

anyway, I am going to watch silence too..
I just wanna know which one actually is good..

i have watched both serie, but i like silence more
i really don't like that qiao qiao acting. pretty annoying in the serie

I'm happy to hear that MD's series able to beat Vic's silence...
But I havent had a chance to watch it.
Maybe I'll watch it later.
