What would you do if you bumped into MD?Okay, this isn't a polling question cause there are too many possibilities but I hope I'm posting this thread in the correct section.
Anyways, what would you do if you bumped into MD?
I for one would introduce myself, shake his hand, ask him if he'd be my friend & give him my card! That is, if my shyness doesn't kick in. LOL! But I doubt I'd take his photo cause I don't carry a camera with me nor use a camera phone. And asking for an autograph would be pointless cause I'd most probably lose it & what the heck would I need his autograph for?!?!?
What would you guys & gals do?

Well I guess that depends on how well his English is because that is the only language I know. I would take a picture for sure (You can never have too many pics of him XD)

I'll wait for you to meet him, get his photo & post it online before downloading it then! Cause I'm rather absent-minded so I know I'll lose my stuff, which is why I don't bring a camera around with me. And anyways, my bag's big enough that if I hit anyone in the head with it, that anyone would faint! So there's no way I'm gonna add on to my bag's weight.
But seriously, he understands English but isn't quite that facile speaking it. So he'll most probably understand you. I understand Mandarin if the person speaking doesn't talk too fast but I'd most probably speak to him in Hokkien - he'll understand me - I've been in transit in Taipei before & the Taiwanese people I met understood me well enough when I spoke to them in Hokkien then cause at that time, I spoke practically no Mandarin.

I don't know if I could talk to him though. When I am around really cute people I cannot speak for some reason. XD

I don't know what to do if I meet him. I mean if by accident, then I would be really happy and if we get to talk, that will be the greatest thing ever. However, if I just going to meet him by concert or by having a autograph session, then I won't be that hype.
I think I will just ask him for a hug. I think he won't mind. And for a handshake. I also want his autograph. I don't want to do any intimate stuff because I might scare him off.lol

I would freak out when I meet him. I would calm my nerves and ask for a picture but it's really hard to say what I would do. I'm not even sure his english is really good.

hmm, that is difficult to say, coz i don't ofthen bumped into a star.
well, i think i may first go crazy, asking myself and others that i didnt day dream again. then i will try to get close to him, very subtile, don't make any noise or commercial like a freak , coz that will just scare him away. and just watch him and wondering what he is doing here.

well as for me... of course it was shocking...
a very handsome guy standing in front of you....
i will introduce myself and then chat with him...
shake his hand, take some photos. i will show him my own collection of
his pictures and ask for him to sign them on... hope to see him upclose and personal...

I would shake his hand, ask for autograph, tell him what series I like that he was in, take a picture, and probably shake his hand again. LOL. I haven't even met a star in my simple life yet.

ive been contemplating this qs since Jean post this topic and da thing is... i duno what i will do if i do meet him.. (which coud be highly unlikely). i suppose it all depends on the situation, whether im meeting him in one of their press conferences or in their concert or just offhand, like unexpected, on the street sumwher. if in an official meet, i dont think there's much i can do. ther'll probly b lotsa other fans around screaming and pushing. and if its an autograph session, you can only get his autograph, cant talk much to him oso.
But if its unexpected, like u go sumwher and suddenly u c MD in front of u! now, this really heigthens one's imagination. will u blab and gush about how much u like him and tat u'r his number 1 fan (how common huh?), or do sumthing that will make him remember you forever or at least leave a lasting impression on his mind?
thing is, try as i do, i cant think of what that will leave a lasting impression to MD without seeming like a hypocrite. how do u srike up a conversation with him without seeming like u'r a crazy fan or some opprtunist? cos i beliv thats what MD will think if ever a stranger sudd approach him on the streets. he'll probly get scared or at worst, disgusted. in the end, i think i'll probly not do anything cos i dont want him to think im an opportunist or a crazy fan.

Interesting reply, Uranus19. You must have have been thinking about this for a long time! Anyways, I think that you should be yourself. That's the most important thing. And if you do bump into him, enjoy yourself!

oh yea.. hehe... i always think properly before i give my opinion.. ;p not that im boasting or anything. but i belive we shud think first b4 making any decisions. and i'l definitely enjoy myself if i do bump into MD. it will be a memorable incident for me no matter wat i do, whther i embarassed myself or even if i did nothing, tho the same cannot be said for MD probly.

Don't scream too loud, okay? We don't want him to get a fright & run for his life!  Just joking! LOL! And furthermore, don't drool too! No offence - I like to joke. But seriously, don't run to him either. Better if you walked up to him so that he would take you seriously rather than run in the opposite direction!

I'll probably faint if I see him in person.. Then I'll see if he is kind enough to take me to the hospital. He3.Then, I'll let everyone know that MD is very very kind to his fans and hope that everyone can keep supporting him. If he didn't, I'll won't be dissapointed either. He'll probably think that I'm so crazy and caused him to ran away. At least, I have the chance to see him in person. That will be the most valuable memory i will ever had.

if ever i am so blessed as to bump into MD, i think i'll be too shocked and speechless to actually do anything. i'll probably just stare at him for a long long time, memorize every detail and remember that moment for life!

If I ever get a chance to met Ming Dao, face to face, I'd probably scream, then giggle basically freak out. Then as I calm down, which would take a while, I'd probably be too shy to really say anything and if I manage to actually say a word, I'll stutter like nothing before.
He'd probably think I'm a total weirdo. Beside I can hard speak any mando...hmm I wonder if he'll understand me if I speak canto??

I think he should understand you if you don't speak too fast since Cantonese is quite similar to Mandarin. Of course, if you spoke Hokkien, he'd understand you even better!

If I bump into Ming Dao I would...... of course, be me. I'm not going to be those crazy fans all screaming and chasing him and all cause that's scary! I'll probably just casually approach him and introduce myself and all and just chat.... basically just be myself.

wow, then that would be an unforgetable moment in my life, i would like to take some pix by camera fone if i dont have a camera with me, then i would ask him to sign on anything that i got with me, and tell him that i'm a big fan of him, and I LOve YOu MIng Dow....

Not really...i'll go wild...i'll go mad!! I won't even know myself....
I'd be too happy..I'd want to take many pictures with him in case some don't turn out nice...i'd want his autograph..his e-mail..and hopefully MSN!! Hahaha...but i'll talk so weirdly that he might not understand me...
Then I'd start wishing that i can be there with him all the time...and he'll never leave..haha
