What is Ming's best series so far?For me...it is hard to choose but I thought his character in Star Apple Garden was such a sweetheart so I think that is his best IMO

wow, there are actually two votes for Legend of the Star Apple.lol I haven't seen that one yet.
Anyway, I vote for FP because that is the first series I seen of MD and I still can watch it over and over again.

FP first & then the rest of it all. Can't bring myself to choose cause no matter what, just the fact that he's acting in the show makes it great to watch!

i choose Magician of Love cos that's the first series of him that i watch. I like frog Prince too... but i havnt watch Legend of star apple yet. isit good? i dont like the ending la... and the lead actress too...

Like I said earlier, any show he acts in makes it good. But the show is nice although the ending leaves a lot to be desired. You should watch it. He plays such a cute, innocent yet mischievous, all-round good guy here. Shades of Artz with Done Oh & Chen Hai Nou thrown in. I'd say that he carried the show. I don't really like the girls acting in the show (one forever pouting, the other forever crying!) but he made it good. Nice.
Helena, don't watch Star Apple first. It's best if you watch his shows chronologically.

Sorry, I could've misled you...actually I have watched AQMFS, then FP and bits of Heaven's Wedding Gown....
I meant to say i should watch first Star Apple before I put in my vote.
But I love love AQMFS.....hehe.....

yup agree... watch WZBQW first.. then followed by the rest... is all different story line and character MD played. and he played so well. the most important ones are the heroine who act with him.. it has to be good and chemistry must be there (just like MD & QE in WZBQW).... i'll never 4get that drama.. i can watch over and over again without getting bored...

Isn't that so true, Fugtub! I've watched FP like 5 times within the last month already! LOL! But then when I watch, I do have this bad habit of fastforwarding to the parts I like to watch only la but still it's 5 TIMES!!! I must be insane! Insane over him, that is!
Anyways, Helena, yeah, I misunderstood you. But you should watch Star Apple first before voting la. N'mind, vote again when you've watched the series! LOL!

I agree I'm watching magician of love rite now.... i love the lead actress in FP with him they look sooo good together... I want to see more movies with the both of them together.....  HE'S HOT!!!! haha

Actually, it is insane if you've got a hectic schedule like mine. I work & study & teach the piano. I usually leave the house around 9 am & don't get home till around 9 or 10 at night. And that includes Saturdays too. The only day I'm free is on Sundays. And I only get 4 to 5 hours sleep max on weeknights but most nights I'll be lucky if I get 3 to 4 hours of sleep. Heh heh heh!  And at my age?!?

Jean, my schedule is not as tight as yours though......
Start work at 8.45am to about 7pm to 8pm every weekday.
Weekend is free.
I think I may buy Star Apple this weekend and start marathon tv watching......

hahaha... jean, we are so alike.. i do tat too. i've watched like 30 times oredi so far and yes, i too fast forward to the parts i like to watch. no we are no insane.. we are just MD's sincere fans and yes.. over him..hehehe.. i guess we all dream of going over to taiwan to meet him personally...hahaha.. :D

age is not a problem... this is what you called, that's a will, that's a way.. right? i shd tell you too that when i first bought this DVD of WZBQW, i watched all of it within one day... hehehe... and of course no sleep and the next day went straight to work...hehehe..

Honestly I watch mostly MD's part after watching it so many times. Then I would usually watch scene that have MDQE. I'm crazy too. ahhaha I think my sister and them are tired of seeing me watching FP.

All I can say Helena is, Happy Watching! Wish I could watch too but I brought home loads of paperwork to finish off so I don't think I'll be able to watch anything at all much less anything of MD's. 
Fugtub, you're really great! I used to be like you, play/work/watch TV/movies all night & then go straight to work but I think it's beyond me these days cause my brain just totally shuts down & then I can't function at all. I used to be able to go without sleep for a long time (I think the record was 5/6 days) but now, I'll be lucky if I can last 4 days.  And yeah, I'd really like to meet him in person & see if he's everything I've heard he is.
Tiramitzu, you should try & get his other shows to watch. It won't be a waste of your time, guaranteed.

I personally think his work in the Frog Prince was amazing. He pulled off Dang Oh and Jun Hao very well. And I haven't seen the other new series but hopefully i will get a chance.

and i vote for prince turn to frog, coz he is very cute as done oh.
i think i will also like his character in Star Apple Garden from what i have heard.

I gave up on my complexion already! Would you believe I've been thought to be my brother's mother? My brother's 9 years younger than me & when we went to change our IDs the first time, we were late & all we could do was ask for the forms. The guy at the counter turned around & asked me (in Malay), "You're taking the form for you & your son only? What about your husband?"  Got me so pissed off!
Then there was the other time when I went to the McD's near my house to get a drink & the girl serving me turned around & said (also in Malay), "You don't want ice, right, aunty?" I screeched so loud that everyone in the restaurant turned & stared! The poor girl was like, "Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!"
But I dunno, maybe teaching kids has made me look younger nowadays cause sometimes, my classmates think I'm like 19 years old only! I really wonder! You tell me when you see me, okay?

the VCD of XPGLY is out for sale. u can grab one and watch. is not bad esp. with MD in the drama... even a boring drama will turn interesting. just like TQDJY which MD act much better than Leon. Jia Yo MD....

Okay, now that I almost finished watching XPGLY, which I thought I wasn't going to watch it until it airs in Taiwan but hey it's a good chance because it have english subtitle so why not take the chance.
Anyway, After watching it, have like 3 episode left. I still think that FP is the best series MD is in. His acting is impressive in all his four drama but FP is the best Taiwanese Series.

Definitely FROG PRINCEI definitely vote for the Frog Prince [also realizing that this forum adopted the frog prince theme ahha ] for the below reasons:
1. it introduced me to Ming Dao [he was DISCOVERED/UNCOVERED by this series, upon reflection can be considered THE debuting opportunity for him] by the general public
2. it has an incredible, unforgettable and untiring storyline
3. none of the other series are comparable in terms of acting quality, emotional intensity, character chemistry, believability, MUSIC SELECTION, unconventionality
I think that the Frog Prince would serve as THE measuring tape to assess his prospective series. Everything becomes reviewed and criticized relative to this series, this can potentially inhibit acknowledged development, but it definitely was an unforgettable series. I generally don't watch taiwanese series.

i agree with everything you said. In TGDJY, I didn't pay attention to him as much until like the end of that series and when WZBQW came on, I was hooked in. It has a great storyline and love story in it. It was humorous to watch.

for me..Frog Prince is the best..
because he acted as both characters..
he's so suit on both of the characers.
i love the way how he changed his attitude into the warmth hearted (Dang O) into the bad hearted (Jun Hao) kind of person...

see, i knew it, prince to frog was his best series. even though i only watch two series that he was in, prince to frog and magicians of love, i knew prince to frog was better. after watching magicans of love a little, i got bored. it was okay but...and i also didnt really like his hairstyle in that movie. sorry guys. Prince to frog is the best!

I only watched Prince Frog and Magicians Of Love and I like Prince Frog better. However, I personally think Ming Dao acted better in the other one  but I just don't like the plot as much as Prince Frog
