My graphic creationshaha...hi everyone^^ Well I'm a beginner in graphics and am no where as good as spunky and may other graphic designers, so don't get your hopes up. Feel free to give me some advice, constructive critisim!:D
Yesturday, after watching some clips on Youtube based around 'Prince turned Frog' I decided to make this poster. I made two versions of it, sorry if my quotes aren't very good, I admit they don't flow very well. Anyways, hope you guys like it!
Rather colourful and cheery, I know it doesn't suit the whole sad situation but I thought I could pull it off by saying it meant that her memories of him were the most colourful and joyous moments of her life.  Pass??

On the other hand I think this one suits the theme much better, although it doesn't comment on their happiness together it shows that it's in the past and that no matter how happy there were together it is time for her to let him go.

wow!! shazza, that's such a good start for a beginner, i love those quotes that you put in, even better than me who is very bad in thinking such simple quotes and yes i like the black and white theme most because like you said it reminds you their memories of their past.
but i suggest that you lower down the brightness in the black&white theme of where dang oh was carrying tian yu on his back because it looks too bright that half of dang oh's face is gone.
so anyway keep up the great work and are you using photoshop?

haha thanks!! I actually didn't think I was very good at quotes.
Oh and thanx for the advice on the brightness, I thought it was a bit too much, I hope you can give me more advice next time!
Oh and I'm using photoimpact, I don't have photoshop, I've tired to get it but I can't.

Thanks. Just keep trying, sounds like a really typical thing to say but just play around and you'll get into it. Sorry I don't know any beginners s/w, I got right into using PhotoImpact and just played around. If you're not happy with what you made don't take it too hard, just go one step at a time. GOOD LUCK! :D
