Well, I don't think the him being dark would make him a non-taiwanese... I mean being dark is still the 'in' thing among celebrities nowadays... Besides he does look Chinese, if you know what I mean... Hehe...

it juz made me wonder coz most taiwanese are white right?..how come he's dark and his mom and dad are white so where dd he inherit such complexion not to mention his big eyes..but despite of his big eyes and dark complexion (besides i'm oso dark..hahax) i still luv him..we all luv him dont we?..

i like that MD is tan and not fair like most male celebrities. the tan makes him look more manly. i woudnt mind if he gets any darker but not any lighter! Men shud have darker complexion. so, i woudnt agree with stephanie that MD gets abit lighter. i'll probly freak out if he ever use whitening lotion to lighten his tan! does anyone knows if he's using it? if he is, i'll probly be the first to tell him to stop! haha...

Yeah. His tan isn't like a fake tan. It's a normal sun tan. I agree if his skin was whiter, it would freak me out too.

MD does not use any whitening stuff... that is for sure. i watched somewhere in youtube that mentioned he too likes it to be tan. but sometimes a certain drama he acted, needed him to be fairer. so he tried not to get anymore tanner (i think i'm using bombastic english now.hehehe)... there's once he went to a beauty saloon to get himself a bit fairer but he was afraid of pain and someone (can't really remember who it was) tried to calm him now... that was the first and last time he ever do that..

Aww...that is too cute for some reason to me. I would be scared to if i had to like change my skin to a lighter tone. maybe its because i wouldnt know what they will do.

I don't think he will be as popular and as much being loved by fans from all over the world if not for his tanned skin color!
Acting ability is anor issue...ok
Look at Louis KooTinLok, he was nothing great until he became tanned.
It will be awkward if he suddenly turns white....even fairer.
His skin color is his positive, sexy & alluring feature so if suddenly changed, it will be weird. Can't imagine a fair MD....

La Robe De Mariee Des Cieux AKA Tian Guo De Jia Yi (TGDJY) AKA Heaven's Wedding Gown. His other series, Tian Shi Qing Ren (TSQR) AKA Angel Lover is still in production scheduled for an October release in Taiwan & there're plans for a China production (he'll be going there either in November or December) & another new series with Joe Chen (if I'm not mistaken) before the year is out.

Oh yeah, to confirm my earlier piece of news, MD'll be going to Shanghai in November & plans to be there for 3 months. Sam Wang will be going there too but only in December & for a different production (if I'm not mistaken). Dunno how long Sam plans to be there, though. So that should mean that the filming of the new series with Joe won't be this year but next. But for sure that that WILL happen cause Sun Zhong already nodded his head on that.

there's no news on what type of drama it will be.. but i guess is the modern type.. ancient series.., i guess it will not be so soon lor... very seldom we c current actor/actress in ancient series.. more of it from china... well, i may be wrong. but i realised tat current celeb who r popular rite now, u dun get to c them acting in acient series from taiwan production. more from china...
