Ming Dao's new series as in China ProductionWell, since I haven't seen a topic discussing about his upcoming new series with China Production, I decided to made one up.
I heard that he will be going to China for his new series after Angel Lover. I don't know who will be the main lead but from what I read it said that the company offered Qiao En but they only wanted Ming Dao. I really wish they could have take Qiao En. The news about offering QE is a long time news which I don't know if it's the same one MD is going to be in. So, don't trust me on this.
I am aniticipated to know what the series is going to be like since it's a China Production. I never really watch China series, usually I watch more of their ancient series though. I usually watch Taiwanese series or TVB modern series and ancient series.
Also, don't know if Ming Dao is ready for a new production crew because the old team knows Ming Dao the best.

that's a good news though... but really hope they take both MD & QE together... can't wait to see both of them act together again..  i'll see what i can find abt this news yeah...

Well, a fan from Taiwan told me that.
So yeah. He is really doing one for China production. I don't know if going over there means bigger and better. Any suggestion?LoL I don't really know much about China as in the showbiz. However, it is a good opportunity for Ming Dao. More jobs, more popularity, more money for Ming Dao. Whatever, I'm happy.

China Production can be quite boring unlike HK & Taiwan tv series production.
I am not optimistic about it. Maybe better salary and increase popularity.....nevertheless we will see how

totally agree... i'm not optimistic too... let's hope MD will do good and better....

they also need a good script..if script was bad then no matter how great the actor is...plot sucks..series/movie sucks.

well i heard form an interview that at the end of the yr qiao en and mingdoa will get a chance to work together again im jsut not sure if its china production or the same crew as prince who turns into a frog...

I didn't know you had to go down on the floor to do somersaults  But anyways, the news is that he'll receive something like NTD 8 million (25 episodes x NTD 320 thousand) for this production in China. Of course, Jungiery will collect the agent's fee of 40% out of this but it's still quite a lot of money, don't you girls think?

wow... tats great... but dun really like the agent fees though... 40% is quite a lot... hope that MD can soon be independent and dun need agent for tat purpose. like hk actors or actress - andy lau etc... they have they own company...

Somewhere in the region of USD 200 thousand. Not much by US standards especially after deducting the agent's fees but quite high for them cause it's a competitive market out there.

I am glad that he is doing a China production since a lot of stars want to enter the market in China, but they don't get invited. Therefore, it is great that he is entering it!!! It would be wierd to see him bald, but I like him more than for his looks anyway. I hope that he will be more independent later on and also be in ancient series. I can imagine him in ancient attire and I bet he will look great.

tx.. yeah.. me got some news on MD in China... i found out from jungiery forum tat both MD and SW only hv 4 security each during their filiming in China... this is just to make sure both MD & SW hv enough sleep n no interruption from fans or whatever... Sun De Rong expressed his disappointment (i hope i used the rite words).. coz he says 5566 needed more than 40 securities & 183 club hv nearly 40 securities during their promo tours or etc.. to other countries.. but in taiwan, they do need tat tat... he was hoping tat in own country, they will be appreciated more... n he meant all his artiste... (i can't remember the member who posted this news in jungiery forum, but tx for the infor)...

oh ya.. i watched TVBS yesterday. apparently TSQR ost is oredi out in taiwan... there's dvd (tat runs for 45 mins to 1hr abt the series), the soundtrack and a book of the series too... shit.. i wish it out in malaysia oredi... can't wait any longer...

I called up Warner Malaysia. The guy told me that their trip over here will postponed to a later date (as yet unknown). That's cause they can't get all the guys together & the guy I spoke to said that the fans would kill him if he didn't produce all the guys together. I told him that he'd live so long as one guy came. He quickly replied, "Ming Dao, right? LOL!" But anyways, the promo trip will still be one as soon as they can get all the guys together & it will be a "chien chang hui" - a showcase & not a concert but the tickets won't be up for sale when they do come. Those who want the tickets will have to compete through radio call-ins & maybe they (Warner M'sia) might give the tickets with the purchase of their album.
Watch this space for more news in the meantime!
