well..
i just began to like him since i watched Prince who turns into frog not so long ago..
long before that, when 183 Club came to my country which is Indonesia, Medan for the concert, i didn't really like them.. (what a pity, right?)

well..
some of my friends who went to see their concert that day..
they said that Ming Dao was such an arrogant person, he didn't really want to smile to his fans, and always wanted to put himself away from the fans as the other members were so welcome and so heart warming to their fans...they talked to the fans by saying hellos, specially Ehlo, Sam and Jacky.. i don't know about Jhonny..but i ever saw him once when he came to my country as well to promote his serial with TORO and Margareth Wang, he seemed nice..

i hope it's not true~

How can he be arrogant?? Could be just him...not very sociable...or tired...haha....we don't know him so i guess...its not possible to judge nor really know the answer to whether he's really arrogant...
I just hope he's a nice person...in King of Adventure..he looked nice..haha..never seen him in real life though

i'm not judging here..
but it's just some of my friends who went to see them and even in the same hotel with them...
and when my friends were about just one meter close to them...and wanted to say hello to them...
all of them were so nice..and kept on saying hi to the fans with some smiles..and guess what, Jacky and Sam were the ones who tried to get to close to the fans..they tried to talk to the fans..

but then, when my friends who wanted to say hello to Ming Dao..when he walked that close to my friends...
he was pretty awkward and showing uncomfortable face and seemed like want to avoid them..

i don't know if he was tired or something..
if he was tired...the other must be liked him too..tired~
even though, the others were tired but still, they really wanted their fans to feel socialize with them..

*not like i'm believing, but...well..i don't know :D*
well, whatever from what i saw on tv shows..
MD seemed very nice...and so much words to say.. talkative~

i hope they will come back to my country again~

i heard that b4 that ming dao is arrogant and not that nice...
hmmm...when i met him in real at a guess show in a studio he also was not that nice in contradiction to Yu Rong! Yu rong looked over us fans and let us make photos of him, but ming dao didnt, he only pass us without looking to us...since then i like Yu Rong more than ming dao...

anyway..
yesterday, i watched Cover Story about Ming Dao...
and i found out that he's pretty fun person..and really caring..
and love to talk a lot about lots of things..
i think that he's the person who loves to experience every new things~
that's why Sun De Rong chose him to be the host for the King of Advanture...

well, i believe that he's not arrogant..but well..who knows lah~ hahaha :D

I could not comment on it. Maybe he is not so comfortable with people that he is not familiar with. I am talkative and fun with people that I am familliar with but I do not talk much with people whom I do not really know. I am not very comfortable with people I meet for the first time and I would not say that I am being arrogant, just that I feel kind of out of place.

I dun think he is arrogant, maybe he do not know how to handle fans and he does not feel comfortable as each individual is different, I really admire those who can handle people very well whether they know or do not know.

i don't think he is arrogant....

you can see in King Of Adventure that he is a friendly and easygoing person...that's reality show, rite ? with so many challenging things to do.... and he has to meet people that he doesn't understand the language.... but he always seems that he enjoys his journeys and he looks so sincere when he is talking with people all over the world...

nope... i think arrogant people can not host show like King Of Adventure... thats my opinion

today i found a video on youtube (its was during september on one of jacky wu's show).

I am not exactly sure what he said cuz my chinese is that fluent and there was no subtitles, but he said something that he doesn't like fans or meeting people who act all shy(referring to the fans who always keep their heads down and never look at them directly) and the ones who just keeps staring like they are starstruck(the ones that goes ohh hi mingdao...and keeps starring in amazement).

He said he prefers the ones who are more "normal".

I guess when his fans are nervous, he gets nervous, so I see what he means. I'd probably be the same way. He's probably more outgoing on those TV shows because he's there with his bandmates and he probably knows those hosts pretty well by now too. I know how it is to be shy and have people think you're arrogant, but really it's just that you're a little nervous!

In King of Adventure, he's so lively and happy...he was super friendly to everyone and he showed no sign of arrogance....
And its true that we'll be friendlier to those whom we know well...
I mean imagine if you were him..and all these fans came and acted sooo "abnormal"..you wouldn't really know what to do either right? haha..i still like ming dao a lot!

I heard about that too... However, I don't think he is really arrogant. But then again, I haven't met him so I can't really say. From what I heard, Ming Dao is like that because he was bullied and picked on as a child. That is why he is the way he is. There are times he is ok being all by himself, but it is because he is afraid to get hurt and bullied. But he does get lonely and wants to interact with people, however, he has to take a chance and is scared to since he often got bullied. I think that is why he is like that with his fans... I heard that Johnny(I think it was Johnny) said
that he and the rest of the group have to look out for Ming Dao since they are afraid that he would get bullied. That is so sweet and shows how close they are in real life. One of the things that I love most about 183 Club is their brotherly bond. I am reading and translating his book now and I can make the conclusion that he has pride, but is still very humble. I don't think he is arrogant... Honestly, if he truly was, I highly doubt that many people would like him.....

I also want to say that not everyone is nice and friendly ALL the time. Maybe Ming Dao was in a bad mood, who really knows? There are other times where he could have been more friendlier. I have heard that there are times when Jacky didn't seem that nice and friendly, but there are other times when he is. I guess my point is, no one is perfect so I hope that you don't all expect Ming Dao to be perfect...

Well, i watched cover story and king of adventure but i nv once got the feeling that he's at all arrogant!
and...i'll never expect him to be perfect...cuz perfect or not..he'd still have my support!!

i really think that his past has affected him now in the present, so if he is arrogant, i think his background has to do something with it. hopefully hes not though.

i guess i understand what these fans mean though cuz i am the same....ppl have told me before that i look very mean or unfriendly when i am not paying attention but when they get to know me they say i am a lot friendlier than i look. :]

i have to say mingdao likes attention though....from the variety shows i watch he is always the one talking even when its not his turn...sometimes i find that annoying but its ok i still like him

I don't think the way we are judging him is really fair. First of all, as we all have said, we don't know him personally so how would we truly know that he is arrogant. Also, we are basing it on just ONE encounter with him which I don't think is fair to him.... I have heard of other times when fans have met him and said that he is really sweet... There was this one fan that actually had close encounters with all of them and she said he was really sweet... SO it just depends on his mood I think... I have been reading some articles about him and I can say that I don't think he is arrogant... I will translate those for you all to read if you want, than you can judge for yourself if he is arrogant...

He also said in an interview that if he is in a bad mood than he can act like Shan Jun Hao, who is arrogant and all... But if he is in a good mood, he is more like Dang Oh... Therefore, I think those fans caught him in a bad mood....

like some people had said before, we cannot judge him by first impression. We don't know him personally so we don't know if he's arrogant or not. He may had a bad day or something. People have that all the time.
There's many things we don't know yet to call him arrogant.

its not that the fame got to his head or anything or that he's arrogant... He just feels very uncomfortable around soo many people. I remember him mention something about one thing he hates most is stranger getting too close to him, he feels very uncomfortable especially when you pull him or touch him or something like that. He's always been like that but since he is popular now, people just take notice of it and make a big deal out of it saying he's got a big head because of fame but in reality that's always been a part of him.

I guess you could call that rude or arrogant or whatever but I guess I could understand where he's standing. I understand he is a public figure and that this is job and blah blah, but we all have our uncomfortable zone we do not want other people to cross and he hope that you guys could understand that. Give him a little break on that he's just trying to make a living... No matter what I'll always support him!

fans are just wanting too much. Fans want attention that is all. They want the stars they like to give them attention and if they end up not doing that, fans will said he is arrogant, he didn't look, smile and said hello to us.

Don't you guys know MD's the busiest one out of them? I don't see how MD likes attention, he is just those type of guy that likes telling story. If he wants to tell something then he tell.

Fans always get worked up. They really need to give celebrity more space. Space.

MD did mention that he was quite proud when he won the award and it was good no one see him that time or they will think big of him. MD likes fame but it's not getting to his head. He is just those confident guy who likes what he is doing.

no one is perfect.... he's a star and he's not the only one with that kind of attitude... but i admit he is goodlooking... well im glad he's not well knowned here in the philippines or else his fans well be very disappointed considering the filipinos are much sensitive... hiss show frog prince and le robe got some low ratings in the primetime show... but really he is good looking...

now i change my impression towards him now..
i just went to 183 Club concert at Brastagi Medan just now..
and i've seen him so clearly...he smiled at me, said thank you after i gave him the CD for an autograph..
then at the concert, as i was standing in the very left side of the stage,
he walked to left side of the stage, and standing in front me, then taking out his right hand to reach my right hand, so i had the chance to shake hands with him!
so nice..
he even waved and smiled for quite several times to me..
i'm so happy!!!!
