183 Club might be going to MalaysiaAccording to a member of the AFF forum, 183 Club will be having a layover in Malaysia (KLIA) on the 21st of August. My guess is that it's just in transit cause there aren't any direct flights to Taiwan from Indonesia. But the most important thing is MD's gonna be there!!!!!Also, they'll be going to Singapore in October. I'll try to keep you up to date but for those of you who live in Malaysia, can you guys try tuning in to MyFM to see if you can find out more about this? I've got my colleague listening for me cause I can't listen to a radio while I'm teaching piano! LOL! I'll try asking around my acquaintances if they know anything at all although I doubt it.

Yes! I heard that from my colleague too as she heard it from My FM. I think maybe some of us can go and cheer for them as they must know that they have fans in Msia. I may take leave to go.....is it too much..... 
Even it is only a stopover but atleast I may get to see Ming Dao. I can't speak Mandarin well.....how to communicate-lah.... |

How's about sign language? Just joking!  Anyways - latest update - there might be changes in the date. Most probably 23rd of August & MyFM's giving out tickets for a meet & greet session, if I'm not mistaken. You're gonna have to listen to MyFM for further details. I'll most probably not be able to make it & even if I could, I never did have the luck for winning stuff that I want!
Wish I could go, though. But I'll console myself with the fact that I'll be going to Taiwan next year (most probably getting a tour package & then prolonging the trip a few days in Taipei) & I'll be able to get his stuff & all that while I'm there. Seriously, though, if you can speak hokkien, he'll understand you too. And he understands English even if he can't speak it fluently. P.S. Does anyone notice that I seem to be using the word "though" a lot lately?

yes as I told Jean yesterday that it's comfirmed that they are coming on the 21st and not 23rd. Sources said on the radio and some members in Malaysia J-star chinese forum. They will held a press comference at KLIA in VVIP Lounge. from August 14, you can now join the contest and stand a chance to win a ticket or something to get into their press conference. | ||||

Well don't know if i can utter a word in front of MD....i'd be starstruck... i heard from MY FM yesterday that if you call in during " 4 tong pat tat" don't know what time....prime time i guess and tell them what are the advantages of being 183cm tall, the wackiest answer will win tickets.... i am cracking my head....... My rough answer would be if I am 183cm tall, as a male ( i am not) i will easily court any girl who are shorter than 183cm.......hahahhhhh too cheesy...... anybody has a better answer? |

Darn! I managed to call thru today at 7.45pm but the DJ said I need to say the complete name of the contest in Chinese.......i couldn't and she cut me off... 
I made 45 calls and finally managed to get through and errrrr sob sob.... It was sth like 183 club launching of new album and press conference in chinese.... i can't speak well..... |

Jean: yeah it would be great, If i got the tickets and of course i'll bring you along but prolly on that day we need to squeeze in the crowd and yes I do not like bigger crowds too.. it's like so annoying on how others pushing each other because I think there will be many people going because from what i've read in some chinese J-star forum that quite a lot of people will be going there.. I don't mind the DJ talks fast and I usually understand what they are saying but problem that I have to come all the way from Ipoh to here so it's kind of waste of time espcially my parents are complaining about that. |

Thanks for the sweet answer Spunky  . And it's understandable that your parents won't be happy about it cause you'd be spending a lot of money for a bunch of people whom you've never met & who don't know you from Adam. They most probably think it's a waste of money.
Anyways, I was listening to the radio on the way home tonight (managed to get an early night cause my lessons got cancelled) & they said that the meet & greet thing is supposed to be at 12.30 noon on Monday. Dunno if they'll appear in the public areas or not but I don't think I want to go & anyways, it seems that Sam announced that 183 Club will be coming here again in October during the Danga Bay concert. So I'll most probably wait till then to watch them or something |

Spunky yeah i too never like crowded place not only you get pushed but also all kinds of smell...  yucks.... and i too understand why and i agree too with Jean. parents at times they dun really understand.. but at times we just got to make them understand... i tried that with my parents and first they dun accept but i never give up. finally they give in. they understand nowadays is different from their time.. well, good luck if you ever want to try to talk to them... i sincerely wish you best of luck...

Jean, I guess you are totally opposite from MD. You dislike contact because of hygiene reasons...i can understand, some people are like that.
MD is very touchy and he admitted in some talk show i have watched. He doesn't care if you are male or female but he loves to to cling on to somebody's hand when walking ....jacky from 183 club always scold him in a joking manner but later gave in because that's MD. Oh Boy, didn't managed to call through on Friday....its just toohard....I was a bit sad on Thursday as I managed to call through and spoke to the DJ of MYFM but didn't say the name of the contest properly so she kinda cut me off. The lucky winners will get to see MD in person. I accidently found out that this coming Sat, YU LE HONG in NTV7 will be screening 183 club stuff. I dunno what time is that programme so you all can watch....maybe it's 183 club interview |

1. A little correction there, Helena. I'm not the total opposite of him cause I do like to hug people only not people I don't know. And the reason why I say hygiene reasons is because in crowds especially in our tropical country, people tend to get very sweaty & I find that gross (I guess). I don't mind if it's my friend or relative but not people I don't know. 2. I'm sorry you didn't manage to get through. I wonder if any of the Malaysians in this forum managed to get through. 3. Thanks for the heads up about the Yu Le Hong program. I'll be watching out for that. Also, I think Cover Story shoudl be airing his interview soon too since they started with Cindy Wang for the TGDJY interview. I know they interviewed all 3 of them for Cover Story. 4. Hey, I managed to reach home by 7.50pm yesterday to catch the 5 minutes Entertainment news on 8tv. MD is soooooo handsome... He didn't utter a word...just look cool there....SAm wang, Ehlo & Jacky did all the talking. Jacky can speak a bit of Cantonese..... I love MD's hair now, not too long or too short, though he still looks good if his hair is shorter. Question: Why are they always wearing the same outfit? In HK, Indonesia, Msia and Taiwan? Is it because it's their uniform? It's the same outfit on the cover of their album? Do you think they have a couple of the same white outfit or they just wear the same clothes everytime they appear in press conference? Thanks for informing that Yu Le Hong is at 5pm! Any idea how we can get our hands on some tickets too without having to resort to asking for favours, that is? And it's only August. How come they're passing out the tickets already? Where is the venue, when & what time? And yeah, if we manage to get our hands on the tickets, we'll certainly have to get together & all that. Also, please don't bring a hailer. Helena: My first language is English although I'm chinese & I guess you can consider me a banana cause I'm more "westernised" than "chinafied" (I used to speak English with a British accent & when I first came back from the States, with an American accent). Other than that, I speak Hokkien (my mum's nyonya), Cantonese (learnt it in Secondary school), Malay, Mandarin (not so well cause I've just started learning but passable) & a little French (took it up in college a couple of years back) & Spanish (picked it up in the States) - enough to get me by if I go to France, Mexico or Spain. If I can get tickets, I'll most probably go even if I have to reschedule a whole week's worth of piano lessons for my students! Also, I'm sure they don't just have 1 set of the outfits they seem to wear all the time. If they always wear it, like we see them do, they'll most probably have a few sets of the same outfits cause there's no way Johnny will tolerate wearing the same dirty clothes day in & day out - he also has a thing for cleanliness like me(! ). And, yeah, I've noticed the same thing. They have a uniform of sorts depending on what they're promoting. Different "uniforms" for different promotions. Maybe it's so that they're co-ordinated & also so that they don't always have to bring a wardrobe mistress/master with them wherever they go. That should make it more economical on Jungiery, don't you think?

Wow Jean! you are a multilingual piano teacher....i'm imprezz..... I think French is just so hard to learn..... I've just started learning Japanese. Boy it requires alot of diligence and hardwork! The language teacher is going very fast and I have a lot of homework to do every week. Economical reasons should be the main one....it's like their uniform already. Why do boybands like to wear white? Fugtub, Did you watch yesterday's 8tv 5 minutes entertainment news at 7.55pm? About the language lesson, Fugtub, I really don't know cause I learnt the languages firsthand from people who speak it except for the French, which I learnt from college. I learnt my Spanish from some people I met while I was in the US. I know of a friend who studied Japanese & I'm sure I can ask her for you but from what she told me, it's rather expensive. I do remember hearing from my mum last time that the Y offers language courses too, though. Have you tried asking them? I'm thinking of taking up Japanese too but I dunno if I can find the time. Maybe if I manage to find the time, we can attend classes together.

Helena, don't be impressed. I'm just lucky I got a good start in life cause my parents understood the importance of education & didn't stint on my education. Other than that, I also have a talent for learning languages (I guess you could say) so I seem to be able to pick up languages easily. And there's also my musical background - you have to learn Italian, French, German & Latin terms when you study music & the teacher who taught me to sing believed that in order to sing properly in a foreign language, you should at least be able to understand what you're singing!
BTW, I find that learning French is easier than Chinese! Dunno why.

yesterday in Yu Le Sin Wen, well you didn't miss much. Quiet fast though, only 5 mins where they showed their new album and sang a little. Only Jacky, SW & Ehlo was there. MD and Johnny are not. MD has to act and Johnny away for competition (i think so as i can't really understand what SW said). i assume only la... for those who understand, could you let us know why Johnny was not in Yu Le Sin Wen yesterday?

woahh!! just finished reading all the posts and i'm already getting so dizzy.. anyway sorry I havent been here for awhile.. 1st thing was quite busy lately, 2nd thing i got a headache seeing my stupid connection being so slow and making my comp not even wanted to move, so ok fine, bring it to the repairshop and guess what the guy said nothing wrong with my comp and it worked fine over in the shop, then brought it back to try again and still it didnt work, so fine, I didnt bother about it.. then suddenly I tried it again today and it worked!! that's so strange!!!
but anyway Jean, Helena and Fugtub, that would be really great if all of us meet up together but probably i wont be in K.L till next year because 1st i've finally applied to Sunway college and supposed the course will start next month but then it's too rush for me so i have to take the course next year but I've asked my mum whether I could come and join all of you on Oct and she agreed but when it's the 183 concert? and when all of you are going to meet because my grandfather (father's side) is really tradisional where all of our family have to gather for dinner for the moocake festival so i was thinking, if all of you are going to meet up on mooncake festival then I cant come but if other days, maybe my mum and I could just get a bus ticket and go there but probably i need to get a ride on somebody's car because i'm not familiar with K.L at all!! I didn't manage to go home to watch the 8tv 5 minutes entertainment news before 8pmon Wednesday evening, any news about 183club? Mon and TUes, 8tv was showing 183 club news...so can somebody tell me if there was any of 183 news? Why is it always that when 183 Club do promotional stuff, likely one or two will be missing?
If the news in yahoo is right, then it is not a 183 club promotion because there will only be 2 members of 183 (excluding Ming Dao )
It's like an incomplete Jungiery stars promotion. Why WHy? MD is busy or what? Doesn't he know he has many many fans in Msia??? Yup, uranus,jean and fugtub....when are we meeting up? Are we suppose to pm each other? 1st week oct? |

Anyways, Sam can't be busy with 5566 cause they're on a sabbatical so that the members can concentrate on their own solo careers. He's most probably busy with being emcee & all that. I just got news from the 183 club MSN group that they'll be in M'sia on the 8th to the 10th of October & in S'pore on the 16th. The dates aren't confirmed yet, though. Also, there's no news of who will be here & who won't. I"ll try & keep you girls (& guys!) updated. |

The latest edition of the Young Generation Mag features 183 Club on their cover & the article in it confirms that 183 Club will be coming to Malaysia. No mention of whether they will go to Singapore or not, though. Also, Singapore's Teen Magazine is giving away free copies of 183 Club's posters with every purchase of their magazine so for the Singaporean members, run out & get a copy now (if there's any left, that is! ).
A 3rd piece of news, the MSN group 100% 183 is gonna be printing 183 Club t-shirts to celebrate their going (maybe) to SIngapore. They've also already got a banner ready to greet 183 Club & are trying to plan a private autograph session. For the interested Singaporeans, the t-shirts are selling for S$13. But you have to get in touch with the board members at Bugis Junction (if I'm not mistaken) to pass them the money on the 25th to the 28th of this month. Those who are interested can PM me for further details. For the Malaysians, how's about we do something similar? Those who are interested in trying to get a group together for a private autograph session (if that is possible), pls PM me so that I can get an unofficial headcount as I'm gonna try to call up Warner M'sia this coming week. So if there are enough people interested, maybe I can try to arrange something with them. Can you gals who are interested please contact me by Wednesday at latest so I can call Warner up ASAP? |

I just spoke to the people at Warner Malaysia on Friday. They said that the showcase has been postponed indefinitely but they will be coming. Only that they don't know when. The guy from Warner also said that the showcase tickets will given out through radio call in & if we're lucky, they might offer the tickets for free with the purchase of the 183 album. Not confirmed yet, though. | ||||
