Sypnosis

“A Game About Love” is a light-hearted comedy that incorporates love, friendship, and dreams. The main storyline is about the love relationship between 2 guys and a girl.

“Scissors, Rock, and Paper” represents the personalities of these three people: sharp, stubborn and forgiving. It is also these three traits that they use to determine their odds in the game of love. Disregarding their age and gender, they throw themselves into a cute and touching love triangle.

Two sworn brothers, Chen Ke Luo (portrayed by Michael Zhang) and Wei Qi Xiang (portrayed by Sam Wang), falls in love with an ordinary yet kind-hearted girl at the same time – Ye Duo Li (portrayed by Chen Qiao En). For their friendship, both were willing to sacrifice their love for the other’s happiness. In the end, they use the probability of the scissors, rock, and paper game to determine each other’s destiny in love. This may sound ridiculous, but when it comes to the present love, when is it ever logical!

The friendship between sworn brothers, the love between a man and a woman, the pursuit of one’s dreams, will be shown in the drama in a light-hearted, amusing and a bit exaggerated manner. While experiencing their innocent, silly yet serious and stubborn attitude towards love, it allows one to see the many aspects of love that the modern generation faces. In addition it will create a romantic and fresh drama filled with emotions.

Episode 1

It all starts in a saloon where Duo Xin is doing Duo Li's hair and Duo Xin is scolding Doff for not helping her. Doff was looking at the stock as he's afraid Simon wil scold him. Duo Li asked her sister, Duo Xin to treat Doff better as he really likes her. Duo Li was preparing to go to her boyfriend's birthday bash. After being made up, Duo Xin and Doff teased her that her boyfriend, Zhi Kai will propose to her. Doff sent her to the birthday place and Zhi Kai was waiting for her.

Duo Li is curious as to why there are no other people around and he asked Zhi Kai. ZHi Kai then sat her down and Duo Li thought he is really going to propose. She was shocked to hear that he wants to break up instead. She ran away without her shoes as she earlier took it off to so that she can put her legs in the swimming pool. She ran till she reached a bridal shop and she cried. She thought of what Zhi Kai said about her being a 'torch light', very liable and nothing that she can't do but the only thing is that she doesn't change at all. Zhi Kai gave her her shoes and asked her to be careful as he won't be there to look after her anymore as he will be going off for studies overseas. After wishing him luck, she left the place.

She took a taxi home and cried inside. When she reached home, her sister and mom talked to her but she didn't response. They were worried. Duo Li walked straight to her room without any words spoken. After entering her room, Duo Xin bickered with her mom and she then assured her that she will find out why Duo Li is acting that way. Duo Xin went in to check on her sister and Duo Li gathered some things to give to Zhi Kai when he leaves the country tomorrow.

The next day at the airport, Duo Li gave a packet of medicine to Zhi Kai and he accepted it. They then bid farewell and Zhi Kai asked Duo Li not to wait for him and she told him that she won't as she's not that stupid. Duo Xin and Doff arrived at the airport to and saw them at the check-in counter. Zhi Kai left and Duo Xin shouted for him to come out and Duo Li asked her to stop and she left. Doff then calmed Duo XIn down and asked her to leave Duo Li alone for the day.

Duo Li walked on the streets and thought to herselft whether she's really that boring and it started to rain. She continued on walking and a car that passed by splashed a lot of water on her and she stood there and cried as she's really feeling down.

Duo Li walked till she passed an art gallery shop that is being open. She's mesmerised by a photo of a girl doing a Spanish dance. Inside, Ke Luo was talking on the phone with her mom and Qi Xiang saw him and he smiled. Qi Xiang then told everyone that the ceremony is for Ke Luo and he told everyone that some of his art piece have been sold. Ke Luo is very touched and they hugged and Ke Luo thanked him for everything.

Duo Li continued walking till he see a dancing academy and she went in to register herself. She started class on the same day. Back at the gallery, Ke Luo is amazed at how much his drawings have fetched and he thanked Qi Xiang's mom for it. Qi Xiang came up to them to tell them of his plans and Ke Luo didn't want to go through it so they did the scissors, stone, paper and he lost. Therefore, Ke Luo will have to go through with Qi Xiang's plans.

Duo Li is learning some simple moves and she is seriously learning it. At home, Duo Xin is watching tv and her mom came home and scolded her for making the house a big mess and she ask her to get up so that she can tidy up the place. They were chatting and Duo Xin told her mom that Zhi Kai have left Duo Li and her mom was shocked. They were talking about treating Duo Li better these few days and she came back at that time. Her mom and sister treated her nicely and Duo Li is shocked at their behaviour and she just couldn't believe it. She told them they need not do anything for her as she's very tired.

The next day at work, everyone is treating Duo Li coldly as she was absent the day before causing them not to get their salary. She went into her room and her supervisor asked her to go to his room and he scolded her for it and purposely gave her more work to do. Jia Shan purposely told her other colleagues that she'll be treating everyone for lunch and asked Duo Li along but DUo Li can't go as she need to rush with the work given.

OMG! I am so psyched out to see this. Finally...the summer. Thanks for the storyline. I've been dying to know it.
